What categories are planned for 2027?

SG Open 2027 is planned to include Invitational Men & Women, U21, U18, U15 and U13 categories, together with our 3v3 with Goalie competition. Final categories will be confirmed when registration opens.

Will there be an Invitational in 2027?

Yes. The SG Open Invitational returns in 2027 and is planned to expand to both Men’s and Women’s Invitational competitions, bringing high-level international floorball to Singapore.

Will there be an SG Open Summer Camp?

Yes. An expanded SG Open Summer Camp is planned as part of the opening of SG Open week, featuring international players and coaches.

Will there be activities for coaches as well as players?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SG Open 2027 is planning a new Player & Coach Seminar Series covering areas including tactics, player development, tournament preparation, coaching and the mental side of the game.

Can overseas teams book accommodation through SG Open?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Official SG Open packages for overseas teams will be available. Package options and full details will be released before registration opens.

Can I play in more than one category?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Players may participate in more than one category, provided they meet the age requirements for each category. Players may play in their own age category and in older age categories, but never in a younger age category. Please note that we cannot guarantee that matches in different categories will not overlap, and matches will not be rescheduled due to players participating in multiple categories.

Do all players on a team need to wear the same colours?

Yes. Players on the same team must wear matching team uniforms, including jerseys, shorts/pants and socks.

How long are regular SG Open matches?

Accepted Answer

Regular SG Open categories will play 2 × 20-minute periods. The Invitational will use an extended competition format, with full details published in the official competition regulations.

Who can participate in SG Open?

Accepted Answer

SG Open welcomes international and Singapore-based clubs, schools, academies, representative teams and eligible selections across the published competition categories.
