SG Open has categories for all levels of play

Open Elite

Mens and Womens

  • All international team

  • Singapore Division 1 League teams (lower divisions are welcomed to play if you wish)

Open Elite Structure

1 Each game will be the standard IFF 5v5 with a goalkeeper. However, it will be two periods of 20-minutes (non-effective time)

with a 3-minutes period break in between until the playoffs.

2 At the group and play-off stage, the duration of each game is two periods of 20-minutes (non-effective time) with a 3-minutes break in between.

3 The maximum number of players per team is 20 and the minimum will be 6 (5 players + 1 goalkeeper).

4 The structure of the tournament begins at the group stage. Following that, teams will play in the knockout round, where the top 2 teams from each group will be qualified to play in the play-off.

5 Teams MUST wear the same jersey of the same design (including socks).

6 Minimum number of games played per team is four.

Open Pro

Mens and Womens

  • All international team

  • Singapore League teams (Division 2 and below)

Pro Structure

Mens and Womens

  • All players must turn 21 years old in 2020 or younger

  • Three older players allowed per team, no older than 25 years old (must turn 25 years old in 2020)

  • Born year 1999 or after

  • All players must turn 16 years old in 2020 or younger

  • Born year 2004 or after

  • No league players are allowed to participate

  • 1 Female player have to be on court at all times

  • Min. 18years old to participate

Recreational 4v4 Structure

1 Maximum of 8 Players can be registered per team

2 The structure of the tournament will begin with group stage round robin, qualifying teams from each group will then move on to play in the play-off.

3 Each game will consist of 2 periods of 5mins gameplay.

4 Teams MUST be wearing the same colour,

5 NO league players will be allowed to participate in this category.

6 1 Female player have to be on court at ALL TIMES.

7 Minimum no. of games per team will be four.

Corporate 4v4

Mixed

  • Max. of 2 league players are allowed on each team

  • 1 Female player have to be on court at all times

Corporate 4v4 Structure

1 Maximum of 8 Players can be registered per team
